Vegan Granola

I'm going to start by saying that I'm not vegan myself. I am an everything eater, but I think it is very important to make sustainable choices. I consciously choose what I put in my body. But if I can make a product, which tastes how it should taste, and it also happens to be vegan. Then that's a win win. 

Naturally Granola is vegan

Okay. Naturally Granola is vegan. Was this always the case? No, it wasn't. In 2021, I decided to launch 1 new granola variation, and it was vegan. I had asked around and many of our clients wanted a vegan version. Wondering what ingredients we used that were not vegan before? Honey! I know you might not have realized that honey is not vegan, but honey is also an animal product. This is a discussion I myself will not go into. 

What have we changed to make naturally Granola vegan? Instead of using honey, in combination of course with date syrup which is our main sweetener, we now use maple syrup. A super beautiful and above all nutritious sweetener. Maple syrup provides a low glycemic index, so you don't get a” sugar high " or energy peak. Also, maple syrup contains a huge amount of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. 

Maple syrup not only contributes to making the tastiest granola, but is also good for you (in moderation, of course!)
