Panna Cotta Classica
ehave you ever tasted panna cotta? This is a typical Italian dessert that literally means "boiled cream. It originates from Piedmont and is made of cream, sugar and gelatin. Based on the recipe of @rutgerbakt I made this version with agar agar and strawberry compote
Ingredients - basic
- 250 ml whipped cream
- 250 Grams Greek Yogurt
- 60 grams of sweetener (or sugar)
- 1/2 Vanilla pod
- 1/2 tsp Agar Agar
Ingredients - strawberry compote
- A handful of strawberries (fresh or from the freezer)
- 2 Tbsp. strawberry sauce
Ingredients - garnish
- A handful of Sweet Mystery
- Edible flowers

Method
- Put the whipping cream, Greek yogurt and sweetener in a saucepan.
- Scrape the marrow from the vanilla pod and add to the cream mixture.
- Put the pan on the heat, add the agar agar and heat the mixture until it boils.
- Let it boil for two minutes, then remove the pan from the heat and pour the mixture into a heart-shaped baking pan.
- Let the panna cotta set in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
- After this, carefully invert the panna cotta onto a plate and get to work on the garnish.
- For the strawberry compote, mash the strawberries with a fork in a small bowl, add the strawberry sauce and stir well.
- If you are using frozen strawberries, it is better to warm them in the microwave for 1 minute first.
- Decorate the panna cotta with the strawberry compote, granola and edible flowers. Enjoy!
