Nutella Coffee Twisters

Nutella coffee twisters ๐ŸŒฐ๐Ÿซ

Italians often have breakfast with a sweet roll and a cappuccino. A great start to the day!
I stayed in the Netherlands this year, but brought Italy to our vacation home in Noordwijk. These twisters are easy and fun to make, perfect for on vacation.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough and press the diagonal indentations closed, so you have a rectangular dough.
  3. Spread the dough with the nutella, sprinkle with the granola and with a pinch of vanilla powder.
  4. Cut the dough into thin strips (about 1 cm wide) and braid two strips together.
  5. Roll up the braid like a cinnamon roll.
  6. Repeat until all the dough is used up. Place a sheet of baking paper on the oven rack, place the buns on it and sprinkle with water.
  7. Bake the buns for 20 minutes until golden brown.
