Most delicious French toast

When it comes to food, I don't exaggerate. If I tell you that this is the very best recipe for French toast a.k.a. French Toast, you may believe me.

I've made this recipe many times over the past few years. And it is always just as perfect. It's super easy to make. The only "problem" is that you have to decide at least one day in advance that you want to make it. After all, it has to be made a day in advance, and then absorb all the deliciousness... Trust me, it's worth it.

In my overflowing refrigerator, I always find room for this anyway. Okay, okay enough storytelling. Here's the recipe, which I

have found through My Name is Yeh

The very best French toast

  1. Melt the butter, and put in a baking dish. Then add the bread, cut into slices. Make 1 layer of this.
  2. Mix your sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. Put this on top of the bread.
  3. In a bowl mix; eggs, milk, ricotta, salt, vanilla, lemon zest. Put this on top of the bread (with herbs).
  4. Put the baking dish in the refrigerator overnight, covered with aluminum foil.
  5. Wake up the next day very happy, heat your oven to 165 degrees. Put the French toast in the oven with aluminum foil for 30 minutes, then 15 minutes without foil.
  6. Between meals, put your fruit in a pan. You can mash it a little bit.
  7. Put the fruit with the granola on top of the French toast and serve.
